Business Purpose
The customer has defined a growth strategy for the next 10 years to develop its leadership in the airline market at an international level. This involves significant development in major domains, from operational and commercial cycles to financial and supply chains. AVIANET’s support includes implementing a distant second data centre to ensure a robust DR Plan. This second data centre must be flexible with the latest technologies, ensuring high performance, cost reduction, and compliance with security standards.
AVIANET Solution
AVIANET’s Consultancy and Security Engagement included the following phases:
Phase I – Assessment & Gap Analysis: Comprehensive assessment of the existing infrastructure and identification of gaps.
Phase II – Recommendations & Design: Provide recommendations on the existing infrastructure, develop a design for the future DR, and prepare an RFP for vendor selection.
Phase III – Solution Validation & Vendor Selection: Validate the solution, evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and select a suitable vendor.
Phase IV – Project Management & Governance: Oversee the implementation of the second data center, and manage migration and testing.
Post-Go-Live – DR/BCM Advisory: Provide ongoing advisory services for disaster recovery and business continuity management on an annual basis.
